At AgapeHealth, we are in-network with Aetna, and select clinicians partner with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) such as Lyra Health and Modern Health. For all other services, we function as an out-of-network provider. We do not bill insurance companies directly, nor do we contact insurance carriers on your behalf.Following the completion of an evaluation, we can provide clients with a superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt specifying provider credentials, services rendered, and diagnosis details (where applicable). You may submit this to your insurance carrier to request partial reimbursement. Please note:Superbills are provided solely as a courtesy and do not guarantee reimbursement. All communication with your insurance provider remains your responsibility.Services provided by trainees may not be eligible for coverage. We recommend checking your benefits with your insurer in advance. Why is AgapeHealth Out of Network: To provide care tailored to your unique needs, we choose to remain independent from insurance networks. Many insurance companies enforce rigid limits on the length and frequency of clinical sessions, relying on generalized algorithms rather than clinical judgment. By remaining independent, your treatment plan is designed solely by your clinician to fit your individual goals, without arbitrary time restrictions.Furthermore, navigating insurance requirements, such as prior authorizations and strict formulary guidelines, can often delay necessary care and limit your treatment options. Staying out-of-network allows us to recommend and implement the most effective interventions for you, exactly when you need them, without administrative barriers.Financial Transparency & Sustainable CareTraditional insurance models frequently involve substantial rate reductions and significant payment delays, which can compromise the quality and sustainability of a practice. By utilizing an out-of-network model, we can sustainably support our expert clinical team and maintain complete transparency by publishing our fees clearly and upfront. We are committed to helping you navigate this process by providing straightforward, step-by-step resources to assist you in submitting claims and tracking out-of-network reimbursements. Please note that payment is made directly to our practice, and your insurer may subsequently reimburse you if your plan includes out-of-network coverage.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or aren't using insurance an estimate of the expected cost of medical services. We provide a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost before services begin. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

First, we'll schedule a diagnostic conversation (60-90 minutes). For children under 10 years old, this conversation occurs only with parents. Next, you or your child will go through testing (6-10 hours) that involves remote and/or in-office-remote test administration. The tests may be paper-pencil or on the iPad/computer. Last, we'll meet for feedback (1-2 hours). This is a collaborative, semi-structured review of the results. You'll receive a copy of a comprehensive report that you can share with others (e.g., school, therapist, psychiatrist, etc.) The written report is typically produced 2 -4 weeks after the last testing meeting.
