Managing Anxiety | Adults

Managing Anxiety is a therapeutic support class for adults experiencing anxiety, worry, stress, and overwhelm. When your mind gets caught in what-if thinking or everyday stress starts taking up too much space, having practical tools can make those moments feel more manageable.

Participants learn strategies for managing anxiety, reducing avoidance and overthinking, and building healthier coping skills. The group offers a supportive setting where adults can better understand their patterns and practice approaches they can use outside the group.

Navigating Emerging Adulthood | Ages 18–25

The transition into adulthood can feel exciting and disorienting at the same time. Navigating Emerging Adulthood is a therapeutic class for young adults ages 18 to 25 who are working through questions about identity, independence, relationships, college or career decisions, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future.

The group also recognizes the unique impact of pandemic-related disruptions during important adolescent developmental years. For some young adults, major milestones arrived alongside isolation, interrupted routines, changing school experiences, or fewer opportunities to practice independence. This class provides space to explore that transition with support and practical guidance.

Why Choose a Skills-Based Support Group?

A support group or skills class offers something different from individual therapy. You are still learning about your own experiences, but you are doing it in a setting where other participants may be facing related questions or challenges. That shared context can make certain topics easier to talk about and can provide another way to practice new skills.

These groups are not meant to replace individualized care when someone needs one-on-one assessment or treatment. Instead, they can be another layer of support. AgapeHealth also provides individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, couples therapy, and medication management for people who need a different or more individualized level of care.
